The cathedral is a huge structure in the middle of Linkoping. It can be seen for miles and is an amazing sight. We planned our visit to coincide with an organ recital. It was a moving experience.

The cathedral is impressive in size and architecture, but also in decorations - including more modern pieces. I can only recommend the summer guided walks for believers as it focuses on religious meaning rather than historical.

The Cathedral is a beautiful piece of architecture, with construction phases now dating back almost 900 years (original church from 1150s). A few books and pamphlets describing this gem; interestingly, I bought a souvenir book using the honor system. I need to come back to...More

Being from the United States, I love all cathedrals big and small as we have nothing of the sort over there. But this one is particularly beautiful and surprisingly large and lovely for being in a relatively small town. A beautiful place to stop for...More
