I really enjoyed this museum, it isn't very big but it's perfectly formed and I learnt some things. The cafe was my highlight. Very good food. I think the locals stop in here for the lunch. Always a good sign.

I've been to Varmlands Museum several times. Not only because I lived in Karlstad but also, it is a great place to take visitors. They usually have great exhibitions on and don't miss the wonderful lunch buffet as well with classic swedish foods.

I was looking for historical info, but it was closed at this time. I did buy several items in the gift shop and the clerk was more than helpful with information where I might find the info I was looking for.

A nice museum, a nice shop and café. We arrived on a sunny day and were warmly welcomed by the receptionist. Please note that it's a modern museum with variable exhibitions. They're not always y'r cup of tea
