As grown up with an architect as father, I was tought to appriciate buildings with the gods to be different and simple in its expression. Furthermore Kiasma is warm and friendly and makes the art shine bright in its purity.

This is not your typical contemporary art museum. This has some interesting educational exhibits from around the world that focus on some challenging issues like human rights and terrorism down to unusual and sometimes bizarre contemporary art.

I loved this museum. It's one of my favorites out of the many I've been to, where even the guest exhibitions were fantastic. Must go in Finland, the design capital of the world.

This is my favourite art museum in Finland! Its location is very good, it is close to the city centre. The exhibitions are always interesting and fun. Staff is very polite. The shop they have here is also excellent, they offer a range of different things. I'm always excited to visit Kiasma.

The museum is well located in the city center and easily accessible by public transport. I visited the museum on a day when students got in free. Otherwise the price for one adult is 12 euros and on the first Friday of the month it’s free. The museum had information in Finnish, English, Swedish, and Russian and the building itself... More

Kiasma is modern art museum worth of seeing right in middle of Helsinki city. Exhibitions are changing approximately every second or third month. Check free Fridays! Every Friday some museums have free entre in Helsinki :)

Interesting and powerful exhibitions, it is easy to move in Kiasma between the exhibitions. Good location, easy to go there. Architecture is wonderful and the building is an attraction itself. Meeri Koutaniemis exhibition was very powerful and beautiful, I recommend!

Kiasma had a free entrance for students, which included all the exhibitions. The staff were all very nice and cheerful, and they gave me all the information needed. I participated in a free tour in English, which was very informative and interesting. I really recommend taking a tour there. All the information are in English and in Finnish, but some... More

We visited the modern art museum with my friend. Such a positive experience. So close to the main railway station in Helsinki, about 3 minute walk only. It was free for us because we were students and there was a free entrance to students on that day. Also the cloakroom was free of charge. The museum collection is based on... More

My main reason to visit Kiasma was the Mona Hatoum exhibition which was very interesting. I recommend the 'After the Turmoil' exhibit which was very powerful, documentary like exhibit about people who have endured great suffering and survived from it. It will surely have an influence on you! I visited Kiasma by myself but I think it is interesting place... More
