NOT your tatty tinsel....but elegant tree lights and the odd lit up reindeer....VERY elegantly done! It's very much a central place from which one can visit the shops or the many other attractions Helsinki has to offer...including the interesting Waterfront area!... More

We walked along the Esplanadi every day of our visit to Helsinki, and the view of the Grand Historic building took us back in time!

It's freezing cold in winter. I went there is early morning, not a lot of stores opened in the market and the sky was so grey. I would recommend to come in summer.

Visited in January on a very dull day. The lights were very cheering and worth a visit if you are passing.

Locals love this park. It's central and is perfect for a quick stop or people watching. There are tons of attractions nearby. You can never go wrong w/Esplanadi. The Helsinki Cathedral is near and walking thru the streets you'll find lots of great cafes, interesting shops and pubs. The Uspenski Cathedral is a close by as well. I hope you... More

You will not be able to miss the Park if you decide to visit Helsinki one day. Enjoy its atmosphere and cafes on both sides of the Park and incide.
