Carl Gustav E Mannerheim was a Finnish hero and president after the war. Bronze statue is the handiwork of Aimo Tukiainen from 1960. It fits well to Helsinki.

Came across by accident. Stately and imposing. I did not know who he was until I read p on it. They should have some more info on the statues to let people unfamiliar with Finnish History know who is being honoured.
