Itis is located in the eastern suburbs of Helsinki and can easily be accessed by metro as it has its own metro station. It takes about 20 minutes from downtown Helsinki by metro. It has lots of shops and lots of restaurants

This big shopping center serves mainly people living in the eastern part of Helsinki and had become quite worn and tired looking in the passing years. Now that the long renovation of the main building is finally finished the look is fresh and airy in the well known tradition of Finnish design. You can find all the main brands here... More

Everything about the place is bad: location, traffic around it (it's crazy all the time!), architecture, parking (extremely unclear directions and short timings), variety of shops, prices in cafeterias/restaurants (very high), amount of people (always crowded), and the WORST customer service I've ever experienced in Finland. In every single store (including dna) sales person was extremely rude, impolite and didn't... More

If you want to peek a local mall Itis ( it changed its name with the rebranding some years ago) is worth the trip. It's easy access from the centre by metro. There's the same major shops you have at the centre with some additions: Russian food store, Thai restaurant and food store, etc, etc. This is one of the... More

Itis has gone through massive renovations and must say it's worth it. Specially it's good for shopping children's clothes as there are many shops at 2nd floor and also Leikkiasema playground for kids. I prefer this shopping center as I live nearby but for me it's easy to understand why many people come with metro, it's so easy and saves... More

Took a metro from Helsinki to the Itakeskus Ostra Centrum stop, the shopping complex is located right off the exit, here you can restaurants, clothing stores, supermarkets, tiger, stockmann, moomin official store. It's like a collection inside a closed complex of the downtown Helsinki.

Here you can find various shops, restaurants and services. Beside Scandinavian brands, you can also run into Russian and other unusual small shops, which I find very interesting. If you want to do some serious shopping than this is the place. Its easy to get to Itis by metro.

Having lived in 3 countries, travelled a lot and seen many shopping cenres. Still. There is something special in Itis. I have reasoned why. Because it is huge and I prefer everything under one roof. There is always the next shop to go. Not that the shops are something special in themselves. Not the shoppings themselves, either But I do... More
