If you love old timey toys, you'll love this place! Granted, it's a bit on the small side with not too many rooms, but there's a lot crammed into the space they do have and it's quite cheap to enter. Beautiful toy exhibits through the...More

We didn’t actually go into the museum, because I was pretty horrified by the extortionate cost of coffee and cake at the cafe. It was very pleasant sitting outside gazing at the sea through the trees on a glorious day, but I don’t like getting...More

Dear Tessie Since you didn't give any feed back when visiting us, it's hard to say anything for this anonymous comment : ) I don't understand what was the "inferior cake"? We bake here everything, and we are famous of fresh home made cakes (5,50-6,50...More

You'll enjoy this museum even if you are not a child any more. The brilliant collection of toys will melt your heart and make you smile. Though the museum is not large, the hour that you'll spend in it will surely make yor day.

Impressive collection of toys. A must visit. The daughter of the author runs the place. Miticulously kept and takes you back to history heaven. 10 minutes by ferry from helsinki no one should leave without going to this museum.

First of all, the cafe at the museum as well as the green terrace looks pretty much as the one you could have imagined while reading tales in childhood, at least it was for me. A little from Alice in wonderland, something from the Mummins...More
