The beginning of June was probably not the best time for a visit as many plants were not yet in bloom, and were unrecognisable despite the plaques. Also, the flowerbeds could use a little more maintenance. But as it was a sunny day we did...More

An excellent botanical garden at the university. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy it fully, because the wind blew, but in good weather, I think it's just great there.

Turun Kauppahalli is one place in Turku...that still retains the essence of old time Turku, Finland...its has a different and a special feel it brings different ethnicity together in one place ...like a world together, under one roof!! ...Definitely recommend to visitors to check it...!!...More

This garden contains lot of plants that you have hard to find anywhere else in Finland Outside garden is free but to get inside you had to pay, but there is lot to see even in outside

I loved the garden. There were names for nearly all plants also in Finnish language and not just the scientific name. Outside was free but inside you had to pay. There was discount for students but not for unemployed, which was a big minus for...More

This is a lovely place to visit when it's -20C degrees outside; you feel like you've travelled abroad :) Interesting also for little kids!

A nice and colorful botanical park in the beautiful Ruissalo worth a visit! :) You can easily get there by bus (line number 8). You can visit the outer garden free of charge but if you wish to visit also the inner garden with more...More

Excellent park to have a picnic, easy to stroll around. Nice atmosphere, peaceful too. Must to see: Greenhouse, absolutely great and lovely place to spend some time, you´ll be relaxed.
