This waterfall is right next to the highway. Pull off, park for free, and walk over. Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful and perfect for picture taking as you can see the whole thing. Take a half hour to wander around and enjoy!

We visited on a tour and it is wonderful! Wheelchair friendly and so photogenic. Lots of parking available and bathrooms too. There is also a gift shop and restaurant.

This is a nice water fall to visit. It wasn't very crowded when we stopped and walked around the area.

Right off the road, one of the easier waterfalls to visit. Very pretty. Easy walk. The N1 gas station is near and has a good restaurant and gift shop.

I know, I know. There are waterfalls everywhere in Iceland. This one though, is so close to the road and so easy to get to and so easy to see from both sides and so easy to see from below, you just have to stop.

It is a small waterfall in an isolated position . There is construction work going on to improve the spectator experience . There is a cafe selling snacks and drinks and thankfully has toilet facilities because there are not many bushes in Iceland.

Goðafoss is one of my favorite waterfalls in all of Iceland. Think of it as a mini-Niagara Falls with lots of Icelands signature uniqueness. It is easy to access from the highway (you will see it coming). There are also trail approaches on either side...More

Godafoss was one of my must-see spots in Iceland, and it didn’t disappoint. The falls were right on Rt 1, and there was good parking on each side of the falls. We got there mid-afternoon heading out of town, and around 10P heading back in....More

I went in a February and we had snow in Reykjavik and going down south, the impression I got when we went in summer and went up north that it gets very snowy during winter.
