Stunning, cosy, warm, quaint and friendly place with reasonable prices, good breakfast. Best place to stay when you'll stay in Iceland just for the 'golden circle' and south-west- tour.

The building are built in Viking-style, as part of a hotel and restaurant. It's nice, but rather expensive (a small room will cost most than $200). It's located right on the bay, great view. Nice staff, good service. Clean!

A few recreations of viking type builings housing a hotel and cafe. OK to stop for 5 minutes to take photos then move on.

A nice setting but rather expensive meal. The aquaria above the counter are a little bit odd in a viking setting.

Set in a village atmosphere. Visited during Viking festival for dinner. Has friendly atmosphere bar downstairs and dining area on upper level. Great entertainment during Viking Festival (heard the entertainment is all year round). Good menu and friendly and helpful staff

Amazing architecture in the Viking Village where this Festival -only in June- is held. The village itself is quite authentic. Restaurants, hotel and houses offer a unique experience of Viking life. Do visit if you are in Iceland in June for storytelling, archery, a battle,...More
