A small public park, tucked away in the lava at the heart of Hafnarfjördur. The park is known for being a home of Elves and Hidden people. Juring the summer and some sunny days the Little Elf store is open for souvenir and some refreshments.

A friend of ours had toured this park with a local elf whisperer earlier this year so we knew about the legends surrounding this park, that it's one of the closest gateways to the elf kingdoms in all of Iceland. Just knowing that adds a...More

This is beautiful little park with Elv-ish history and aura. Nice to spend your day walking around or sit on one of many benches around the park. The little Elve shop close to the entrance was very nice to go and take a look at...More

Small but very lovely park. We had a morning stroll here and it felt great. It's unusual and beautiful park. The Elf Garden is closed on Mondays. Nothing spectacular but if you are in the area, it's worth the stop.

From what I saw it was just a little park and I don't remember seeing any stores. There are stores along the waterfront so maybe you can find a gift shop down there.
