We took the 9:45am tour. Good experience and be ready for tackling sea sickness if the weather is inclement with rough seas. We spotted humpback whales and dolphins.More

We were with a tour group traveling throughout Iceland. This was scheduled for us so we had no choice of which Whale Watching tour or boat to take. I wouldn't recommend old converted fishing boat tour. They say it holds 44 people. That means at...More

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review and provide feedback. Our captains do their best to show whales on all sides of the boat so that everyone can have a nice view, but since they are unpredictable, this can sometimes be...More

Dear Joop V, Thank you for the nice review! You are right that we do not want the boat too close to the puffin island so we are not disturbing them, so, as with all nature, sometimes the views are better than other times. Great...More

What can be done to lessening the crowding/harrassing by the noisy RIB boats (when we were there, 3 RIBs right on top of the whale at the same time-- as the whale came up to breathe). We also noticed that there is/will be a study on the effect on the RIB boats on the whales. We hope the results will cause some regulation. We were impressed with the wooden boats, which quiet its motors and were respectfully of the live creatures.

Hello Gioske, I'm sorry but we took the tour on August 20th, therefore we weren't together. We were offered an alcoholic drink made of local herbs. Very good!
