Definitely a photo stop everyone makes. On a clear day you can see the areas across the bay. Birds in the area and nice walk along the harbor

Saw it from the water and it was interesting. Not anything I would flock to unless you are very interested in local art.

When you walk along the shoreline from the hotel cabin this beautiful sculpture is only 10 minutes away. It is completely free and the view behind the sculpture is breathtaking.

Lovely sculpture with beautiful background. Came here in early evening and it was quite busy. If you're looking for a photo without anyone else in it, you'll have to come early! Also....please don't climb the sculpture. I didn't see a sign prohibiting it but respect...More

Only a 5-10 minutes walk from downtown. Massive statue of the Viking boat to commemorate them. Landmark is out of this world, if you have a panoramic camera this is the place to use it.

Clean lines, shiny metal, cool location, awesome view of the water & mountains. Also, free :-) as long as you can figure out where to park!

That´s not true. In December in Reykjavik you have at least 4 hours of light. You can go to the page timeanddate, and check there the sunrises and the sunsets. Hope it help you.
