There is something "otherworldly" about this piece...at once ship but then not...also something intangible....searched for a replica to buy , a free book in the Hotel said found in "Selected" museums....hunted it down to the National gallery ...in the jewellery display case under lock & key ..at a mighty 89,000Kr.......probably in silver , hand made . I'm tempted to make... More

Very nice sculpture, try and go there at sunset or sunrise to take some pictures in a good light. You can walk from Harpa to Hallgrimskirkja passing through here.

An elegant modern sculpture on the waters edge with mountains in the background. Must be one of the most photographed places in Reykjavik and if you catch the light right it is atmospheric.

Fantastic piece of sculpture can be hard to take a photo as some many posing around it and a few idiots climbing on it

This is a sculpture near the harbour and Harpa. The view from there are fantastic, we were lucky enough to be there on a clear day and see the snowy mountains in the background.

Quick easy spot to check out. Can see this before heading over to the Harpa. A good idea to come during sunrise or sunset to get amazing views.

It's a nice object but really in the wrong place. Our guide went straight past it without mentioning it!! We then went to find it. Ok I'd you like that sort of thing.

Sun Voyager takes your breath away!!!!! When you look at this amazing sculpture you can see the Vikings sailing away to explore the world!!!! Sunlight shining on this work of art only emphasises the power of the Sun Voyager. Well worth the walk to the water front to view..........
