I booked this tour via Tripadvisor/Viator and realising the Blue Lagoon was fully booked and our only option was to visit the secret lagoon. This tour combines the golden circle tour (which everyone offers) with a visit to secret lagoon at the end of the day. The main advantage you have is that GTI use a mini bus and get... More

Book book book! Don't visit without booking as this was the best thing we did. Our tour guide ( sorry I can't remember his name but he was Scottish) was amazing and I'm sure could beAt most Icelanders on any quiz about their country! The scenery was stunning and I can't imagine how anyone could take a trip to the... More

Another great day out, this time with Gateway to Iceland in a minibus (collected and dropped off at hotel). We did the Hot Golden Circle Tour, visiting the Þingvellir National Park (seat of the first Iceland Parliament, and the site of the rift valley, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart. Beautiful scenery. From here we... More

Excellent! Before I get into details of tours can I just say Gateway to Icelands customer service is incredible. Going out of there way to return a scarf I left in the tour bus 2 days before. We did the Hot Golden circle tour with the voice of God ... Stefan. It was an amazing tour. My favourite part of... More

We did a Northern Lights tour with GtI and it was great! Our guide was a super nice guy and was willing to drive around all night if we had to in order to see the Lights! He is originally from Scotland but has incredible knowledge about Iceland history, culture and folklore. We succeeded in seeing the Lights after about... More

We were picked up from hotel on time, Gummi gave us a lot of explanations and tried his best to make sure us catching the northern light, we stayed a place for about 3 hours but there were only some weak lights, Gummi managed to take some photos for us, we thought that was it but Gummi contacted his colleagues... Advertised as 9-10 hours, but ours with pick up and drop off was more like 12. This was an amazing full day tour and the driver was so knowledgeable. Tremendous value.

Went on a Northern Lights tour last night with this company. The driver (didn't catch his name) was very disorganised, didn't seem to know who he was supposed to be picking up and it took forever. The driver spent quite a lot of time using his mobile phone whilst driving which was obviously very dangerous. The rest of the time... More

Dear Delia Thank you for your feedback about your Northern Lights Tour on that night, and we officially apologize for your poor experience with us. Even though the guide you had, is a certified driver/guide, he was only a substitute for us that night and does not normally work for us (we got into an urgent situation to find a... More

Did the Hot Golden circle tour... Picked up from the door step in a very comfortable mini bus... Driver Stefan was incredibly well informed and had a great sense of humour his hypnotic tone made for easy listening. Have done the Golden circle before but on a larger coach and must say I preferred this tour the mini bus was... More

Were told to be ready at our hotel for pick up between 10-10.30 and our ride arrived on time, it was a smaller mini bus with only 19 people on our tour which made it much more personal. Our driver Andreas A was extremely knowledgeable and very funny with some great stories thrown in! We visited all the places advertised... More
