This is a very special place. A beach in the middle of Reykjavik ? And going there in the middle of the winter is even more special.

We did so many activities in Reykjavik that it was so nice to soak in the geothermal pool to relax. I wish we had done it more often during our stay.

Took a long walk from Reykjavik to the geothermal beach the grandkids loved it. The hot springs around are most impressive.

Not too hard to find, but it appears that mostly locals hang out here. We went once when it was closed and walked the beach and once when it was open- about 30 visitors were there.

Bring your towel and trunks, have a free soak! They also hire out towels for Kr.600. And the coffee is only Kr.250, really cheap. The main rectangular pool is small but good for 20 people I guess, and on the sandy beach itself is a...More

It was a windy day with intermittent snow and sleet when we visited this beach after touring the Perlan. It was pretty to walk around and we didn't even realize there was a thermal pool there. Being off season, there was no one else there....More

They can accommodate small bags but there no real room for full size luggage. Check the hours of operation as they are limited and the facilities are quite small. Cheers

I think it will be open because it's a free attraction, so there's no possibility to close it. But I think water will be so cold altough the geotermal way
