Stunning

Beautiful building with s stunning view over the bay. You can have a coffe and a stroll inside even if you aren't attending a performance. The architecture is amazing.

Stunning exterior, moving illuminations during evening and coloured glass façade catches the light beautifully. We had lunch in the ground floor café, a little expensive for an open sandwich, however service good. Seems to have a full international programme of Opera and concerts, which we didn't access, so cannot comment.

This place hosts a lot of cultural events for a variety of interests. It is also free to enter and stop by their store, look at the sea behind and enjoy the interesting architecture.

This is a magnificent structure was made of glass. The building is like a huge mirror that reflecting the sunlight and the sky. So the image on the glass is changing all the time. This is a very unique and impressive place to visit, even just by looking at the outside.

Beautiful. This building is in contrast to many of the old buildings in Reykjavik. We were there at night and the place was busy with tours leaving for the Northern Lights. This is a people place. We saw a lot of young people coming in with instruments. The architecture is just fantastic and the light coming through the special glass... More

Beautiful building, amazing geometric shapes, peaceful inside perhaps it was just the time of year I was there, February. Mesmerising to watch the building from the street at night the way the colours flow are dance into each other is fabulous. Didn't pay to do any tour just wandered in at no charge and walked around taking it all in,... More

really modern piece of architecture with a huge amount of glass panels set at varying angles which refract the light to give a wonderful internal light show

Its really a monument over Reykavik, its a building everyone who had been there will remember. Inside is more special then outside and your fantasy will go to a bee-cube the colors and the manin stair is just amazing.
