We were able to use our CityPass (available at all tourist centers) for free entry into the museum. The museum is as weird as Iceland is unique...that's a good thing!

We really liked this museum. The exhibits were very individual and interesting and were were absorbed in the place. Its modern art but very accessible -even pop art in places. The kitchen was closed but free coffee was available and we spent a pleasant twenty...More

Not much to see really ....can’t say I liked anything on display and thought it was far too expensive for what was on show...both of us like Art generally but neither of us were very impressed..the whole visit took less than 30 minutes nothing grabbed...More

Focussed on the Icelandic artist Erro. Modern art with lots of modern art installations - I’m not a massive fan of and didn’t find particularly awe-inspiring. Worth skipping.

We went in because our tour was cancelled because of bad weather and it is good to explore. Very modern Icelandic artists featured and if you go in you get access to complimentary 2 other museums in the city.

So many different rooms with so many different types of ar1. Gift shop had unusual items. The movie on Noel Lads really held your interest and explained Islandic Christmas culture.

A great museum. Lots of interesting exhibits and displays, all contemporary art. A great insight into modern Icelandic art. Great shop.

Large museum which was a former warehouse and the building itself is very interesting. Don't expect traditional art as the museum seems to house 'alternative' art and all by Icelandic artists. Mostly installations etc. and changing exhibitions. Either love it or hate it type of...More
