I stopped in to pick up a few postcards and some stamps. I was shocked to find out that 5 postcards with 5 stamps (postage to the US) was about 2500kr, but that's due to the cost of Icelandic postage -- the postcards themselves were 150kr each. Having spent my morning's budget on postage, I helped myself to a cup... More

We were looking for volcano house and so waited ages to just ask directions, the directions we were given were next to useless and we ended up just going into shops to find where we were going, they are probualy very helpful but for us was a waste of time

We stopped in the information center to dry out from torrential rains, but we took a number to see an associate to gather some information about a land tour. Our associate was very helpful and ultimately booked us for the Golden Circle tour. She advised that we should book on Thursday because she "had a feeling" the tour would be... More

Lost my Ipad and Phone in Belgium due to theft. Tourist Info Center let me use their laptop to transfer money and book transport and hotels....if I had more time I would have gotten the incredibly nice, and friendly and...well...smokin hot girls phone number...but I am a gentlemen...sort of. When in doubt, pop into the many locations and ask...it's all... More

We had difficulty locating the tourist office as it has recently moved inside the city halls, but this is not well sign posted once you actually get there - you have to go into the building, which is fine, but a sign on the door or at the top of the path would have been helpful as we wandered for... The young ladies here with their perfect English booked many of our trips and helped us out when a gale force wind descended onto the city and cancelled all our trips for the next 3 days. They were full of ideas of what we could do whilst "stuck" in the city and we managed to still have a fab 3... More

Wandering about in town. Went in to ask for suggestions. Very kind assistants. If you are at a loss for suggestions, this is a very helpful place.
