It's not an ordinary City Hall. It is set on the water and there are people there who can organize activities for you.

In addition to being structurally interesting, the City Hall has one of the most impressive relief maps I have ever seen. The entirety of Iceland is represented in three dimensions on a map that is at least 7 meters on a side.

Really pretty view surrounding City Hall. The bright color houses sit in the background of the frozen lake and large majestic birds. Bathrooms are available inside!

Make the time to stop by and go inside to look at the thre dimensional map of Reykjavik. Plus the architecture is notable and worth exploring.

Great little CIty Hall and Parliament area. Nice to stroll around the grounds, relax, read a book and feed the birds in the pond/lake. Was suprised how small the governing buildings are but it is a small island nation. On one of the days I...More

Very interesting architecture to house the workers who make this quirky capital city run so well. Bravo gals and fellas. Love the statue outside on the shore of the Pond.
