The city hall often has displays on in the main entrance area for you to view. There is an information centre inside where you can find info about the different tours offered in Iceland. The pond that it's situated on offers beautiful views and photographs. Lots of wildlife on the pond with signage to help you identify several types of... More

we went there around 9am when sun was about to rise. Went to waterfront to soak up the views. in the ground floor of City hall there was a large window which had a wonderful view of the water. beautiful and magical as water was covered with a sheet of ice and there were a few ducks on the edge

We enjoyed our walk round the City Hall and looking at the art display of a year in Reykjavik in photographs. Loved the outside of the building with the moss growing on the Lava rocks.

Where the city hall is placed is pretty with the lake and wildlife all around . The 3D map of Iceland is not interesting and lacks information about it!

If you check out the rest of the city hall, you'll find a collection of photographs capturing important events and noteworthy individuals for Iceland. Definitely... More

Very warm and inviting! They actually want you to visit city hall! There was a fantastic photograph exhibit while we were there. City Hall sits right on a lake and it was fun watching everyone out there!
