The exhibition Points of View at the Culture House takes guests on a journey through the Icelandic visual world of past and present. Artifacts and works of art from the varied collections of six institutions provide a reflection of Iceland's visual art history and cultural heritage. Artists with different backgrounds and living conditions have expressed similar ideas at all times. There are seven points of view to be found in as many wings of the Culture House, connecting what you'll see, independent from the medium or time.

This museum is totally worth your time for a very unique collection of early Icelandic manuscripts. It is centrally located and the admission fee is part of the National Museum ticket. You will probably need one hour to see everything.

Came here as a part of our city card and was fairly disappointed after being very impressed by both the Settlement Exhibit and National Museum of Iceland. This museum had a lot more modern art than I expected, and not as many historical exhibits. Definitely...More

The Culture House has an eclectic array of displays. An impressive library and reading room, a variety of modern art and historical artifacts, and some just weird stuff.

If you're interested in the history of Iceland, this is a nice museum. Take the time to read all the notes, there are many! $20 ticket gets you into the National Museum too.

Such an eclectic collection of interesting art. The museum was designed based on perspective rather than chronologically or genre. Well worth a visit and it's included with the City Card. We enjoyed the cafe as well.

When you visit here or the Natural Museum your entry fee applies to both, recent collaboration. Culture house was a fun mix of styles, interaction and collections. Really different and varied.

We had a free ticket for this museum as we had previously visited the National Museum. An interesting building with some really quirky art displayed inside. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but if you have a free ticket and the...More
