We went here before entering Stykkisholmur. This one is a nice church but just a church to be honest. Nothing special and go here just incase you feel like upon entering Stykkisholmur

Summitting Mt. Helgafell is a nice, quick stop on your way in or out of Stykkisholmur. Be sure not to tell anyone the three wishes you make at the top!

A sweet little mountain, an easy ten minute climb with a great view of Stykkisholmur and the snow covered mountains. A sacred Viking mountain with a later christian church ruin on top.

It's a very small mountain, and the car park is right at the base. 10 minutes up, 10 minutes at the top to look at the view, 10 minutes down!
