Beautiful old citadel with helpful information points and also volunteers who run e.g. the old gun battery. Just wandering round irrespective of the museums is worthwhile, with amazing views across Gozo from the walls.

Unfortunately, this is a restored site so it is not that authentic. Nonetheless, the views from the top is absolutely beautiful and hence i've given it a very good rating.

The citadel was beautifully renovated in 2016, now with a visitor center giving you a glimpse of the tumultuous history of the island. The site is impressive and allows you to see pretty much the entire island. Several little museums can be visited.

Stunning place to walk around. Make sure you visit before noon, most of the day trippers from Malta arrive around about noon and it gets quite busy.

Reference should be ok but check with the agent. He should have given you a phone number. Or ask your hotel to check.
