Mdina is a beautiful place. We enjoyed strolling around, taking in the sights. Fantastic views from the viewpoints and a wonderful ice-cream shop, not to be missed. You can travel around on the horse and carriges if you prefer not to walk. "So much to see with-in this walled city."

Mdina is Malta's old capital. It is a small walled city situated in the Northern part of the island just off Rabat. It can easily be reached via public transport, or using a taxi. There are plenty of restaurants inside the city and also all around. Malta's cathedral is located here. This city was used in the filming of Game... More

Such a beautiful medieval town. Loved strolling around in the narrow streets. Surroundings so peaceful. Game of Thrones was filmed here also

The narrow streets, open churches, and stone walls take you back to that time before cars, when walking was the way of the world. The shops are lovely, everything clean and well kept, and the museums interesting and... More

Interesting architecture and a good example of a medieval walled cit. Plenty to see and Maltese glass is in abundance for the collector. However, if you want to visit the Cathedral this it will cost you 5 euros per person for a joint museum and Cathedral ticket. Didn't Jesus enter the temple courts and drove out all who were buying... Visited twice as once was just not enough, it is stunning, peaceful, full of calm, and the Cathedral is breath taking. Narrow streets with little church's hidden within, history galore a right culture vulture place go and be amazed. I would go back in a heartbeat
