Unfortunately this was really boring, with very little to actually see. Firstly, the young lad (very young - born in 2001!) who ran the tour was lovely. Very good at his job and you can tell he has real pride in his country and his...More

Please visit and see how the people of Malta survived the war. It is the place I would say shows the total brutality of war from a civilian standpoint. Look at the displays and see what the population had to do to survive

Very interesting - great guide in Daniel and I would highly recommend it. It is run by enthusiasts who are doing a great job in restoring the tunnels and hopefully opening more up for visitors to see.

I learned many things I was unaware of about World War II. It is near the war rooms. Take the tour. It is well worth it.

Found next to the Lascaris War Rooms but pre-dating them by three years, the War HQ Tunnels are actually a more complete version of the underground tunnel complex used during and after World War Two. The oldest part of the complex dates to 1940, around...More

This is a superb extra to do if you visit Lascaris War Rooms or the Salooting Battery. There are only a couple of tours a day in November (10:30 and 1.00). We went on the 10:30 tour which finished just after 11:30 so you are...More

Sliema Bay and walk along to Julian Bay along the coast.. The ferry to Valetta is only a couple of euros and there’s always the local buses which will take you round the island.
