Brilliant! It does exactly as you want it to. I wanted to travel up, from the ground level to the viewing platform (see pic) but it also travels the other way... Amazing! As a feat of engineering its clever and useful and it's free!

You really can't complain, you get an amazing view of Pfaffenthal and the surrounding areas before you go down. It is complete with a glass panel that shows the bottom of the lift. Don't look if you are afraid of heights! Worth going for the...More

this lift link the Pfaffental quartier on the river banks to the Ville haute or historical city center. The lift is free and you have a great view of Pfaffental and the Kirchberg's fortifications

¿parking? in Luxembourg city :/ forget it!! check public transportation on mobiliteit.lu and use train, bus, etc for 4 Euros per day (24 hours) street parking (if available is 2 Euros per hour!!) enjoy Luxembourg ;)
