The inside of the Casemates du Bock was surprisingly big with tunnels and spiral staircases winding up and down. If you are claustrophobic some of the spiral staircases are not for you. Great views from the ramparts.

It was nice to walk through the open Bock Casemates. They had some plaques with the history, explaining why the casemates were created, and their varied history (many armies added to the casemates). It was interesting to actually get to walk down and through the...More

If you are up for a bit if walking then visit the casemates, they will give you a great view over the city and the cliffwalls as well as a history lesson of the last thousand years and what has happened in Luxembourg to date

A nice place to be in: a little bit cold, but there's not much to do in lux. You can have nice drinks there, yet no food

A beautiful area only a short walk from the city centre. Lots of different perspectives. Historically important.

The place is very nice for visiting but be prepared for a long walk inside. Also small stairs and chambers. The bad part is that is not that many things to see inside and everything ends in a dead end. So, practically, you'll gonna walk...More

This is the best attraction in the city in my opinion. You can enjoy a nice walk with some good views of the city. You can explore the tunnels that go throughout as well. It's a nice break from the sun too ;)

The maze of corridors and very narrow passages that takes you into the depths of the fort from the past. The way of construction, complexity and atmosphere are an unforgettable part of this tour. If you are visiting this location with very young children, keep...More

It is really good to visit it. It will not be the same anymore after you already went in there, but the history is well explained there and you can also walk in. Just be careful of the stairs, as they could be dangerous if...More

It is impressive that what is left of this structure has datings back to the 900s, who would've ever thought. It's neat to walk through the hallway where cannons and troops marched and imagine the history, but in all, it's a bit boring. I'm glad,...More

Hi, I'm really keen to visit the Casemates du Bock next weekend, but according to my guide book and one reviewer, they're currently closed for Winter. Yet there are other reviews from Dec/Jan that talk about visiting them. So I'm confused! Will part of them or all of them be open next weekend? Many thanks :) Tracey

as far as I know it is closed until February. "Période d’ouverture : 18.2 - 5.11.2017" this is what they say on their Web page.
