we walked from the centre to the Hofkellerei, through the vineyard, and got an almost as cool welcome as the weather outside. We asked for the wine tasting, and were served in a quite reserved way. Maybe we arrived too late (around 16h30), or didn't look like potential buyers, but it was certainly not a customer oriented approach. We didn't... More

If you are even passing through Liechtenstein you must make a point to stop here. The grounds are beautiful and it was a great break after a long drive. We went in and did the wine tasting in the cellar room. The woman that did the tasting demonstration was so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed ourselves and the wine... More

My wife and I shared a wine tasting on a quiet afternoon at the Hofkellerei. The lady in charge of the tasting rooms spoke good English and gave us a bit of history on the local wines of Liechtenstein and those of Austria. We ended up purchasing two bottles - a light white wine and a stronger red blended wine.

Had spent the day site seeing and fancied 'doing' something. Would definitely recommend this and the wine made in Leichetenstein is actually much better than we had expected!

Just a short walk from the main drag in Lichtenstein (museums, tourism center, etc), you will find the Hofkellerei. The location has several acres of grapes, a retail area where they sell their wines (and sparkling wines) and wines the royal family produces in Austria. The site also features a tasting room (fairly inexpensive).

I liked a lot the wines and bought one white and one red. I didn't care about the price so I didn't even ask, but well I spent 60CHF. So if you don't wanna spend a lot, ask before how much the bottles cost, they are pretty expensive

We walked to this place from Vaduz Castle and the Red House. It was a quick 20 minute walk through a really pretty area in the city. When we arrived we were offered a quick tour and then participated in a local wine tasting. All the wines were fantastic! I especially like a White Pinot Noir. Highly recommended for wine... More

Visited in summer 2014. Reviewed website in advance, which is necessary for a small establishment like this. Tours are typically offered as part of a city train tour. Our trip to Liechtenstein did not coincide with train so I asked if we could visit at a scheduled time. I was thrilled they were able to give us a private tasting.... More

Arrived and was excited as I am a big wine enthusiast. There is nothing valuable here from my standpoint. The staff had an event and did not even acknowledge us. No wine tasting was allowed. Wine is expensive and has a bad reputation I found out later. I did try a glass at a local restaurant and was disappointed. No... More
