A magical castle to explore and bring out the child in you. This is exactly the type of place Sleeping Beauty's castle was in my mind when I used to read the fairytale. The climb is definitely worth it.
Wonderful ruins - almost deserted when we visited - inexpensive and with a small cafe - a guide would help to get the full history and not to miss any of the hidden rooms - superb views from the top
The climb is steep - not for the faint-hearted - but it's worth the effort. Plenty of stopping places on the way. We visited in March and weather was good.
