A beautiful place steeped in history but be ready for the stair challenge. The views make the leg ache worth it. A very beautiful spot to look over the rest of kyrenia

Nice blue sky and a whole panorama opened from a high point of Nothern Cyprus! You can see almost all the north of the isle!

Wonderful ruins - almost deserted when we visited - inexpensive and with a small cafe - a guide would help to get the full history and not to miss any of the hidden rooms - superb views from the top

The climb is steep - not for the faint-hearted - but it's worth the effort. Plenty of stopping places on the way. We visited in March and weather was good.

Lots of steps but lots of places to take a break too - worth it for the view when you get to the top! Keep going!
