i visited the museum on a lovely Saturday, with my girlfriend Diana. since both of us are both medical students, we've found it very interesting and informative. the owner, Mr. Kyriazis was very nice and welcoming, and even let us try some of the local liqueurs that are used for medical purposes ;)

The location of the museum is in the center of the old Larnaka near to Lazarus Church and you can find it easily. Also you can find ancient medical tools among with some collection of medical antiques. The entrance is free and the owner is very friendly and helpful.

I was scared initially but then I got interested in seeing the exhibits. The photographs show how the medical treatments were performed in the olden times. As a Cypriot I found the medical material from old Cyprus very inspiring. Also, I was offered to draw a medical drawing on the "ideas blackboard" and it was first time that I created... More

It's ok but not amazing. Perhaps I have seen some nice ancient medical stuff elsewhere. But it is nice to see someone making a personal effort. There's a reasonable collection of more recent medical antiquities and the ancient stuff is all paintings etc

Stumbled upon this gem on the was to Lazarus' tomb/Church. A medical history in four room. FREE the owner is very warm and informative. HINT! Enter 1st room on the left. Face the window. Look down to your left. Not sure TripAdvisor would publish this, so no photos provided!

A small museum which is clearly one person's collection of medical memorabilia but gives a great insight into how medicine has changed over the years. Clearly been collected with love.

I saw this as it was on the city's walking tour. It's not that impressive but worth a look for those who like a look at the past medical practices. It only takes a few minutes and was free.

This tiny museum is really worth a visit. It's tucked away down a small alley, so you may have to ask a passerby for directions on how to get there. Admission is free, but there's a little donation box by the entrance. Lady in charge is very, very nice. It's a very small museum, but what atmosphere! Most of the... More
