Steep steps down, very steep at the bottom and wet, don't put your feet in at the very bottom, it is crystal clear water, and difficult to see, you will definitely need a torch, or light on your mobile phone. FREE attraction worth a look....More

Walking around Paphos, Stumbled upon these small but interesting catacombs. Google the history personally we found it interesting. Very similar to clootie well in Scotland.

We loved this little gem. An oasis of shade from the heat. The tree and cave walls/gates with ribbons/hankies attached is interesting to see. Definitely worth a look. Gates were padlocked inside - not sure if they are meant to be all the time. But...More

This is just about 5-10 minutes walk from the harbour area and worth a walk. You head up towards the Kings Avenue Mall and will see it. It isn't vast but has a special feel about it. Take a ribbon with you as it is...More

They told us that we would recognize it by the white ribbons, and we did, it's hard to miss as you walk the main road. A very small but beautiful and quiet site. The Catacombs of St. Solomon. You might need a torch if you...More

This catacomb is just around the corner from St Paul's Pillars on the main road. It's very easily missed as it's below the road level. However, look out for the tree on the right hand side of the road with all the handkerchiefs hanging on...More

A very small site, more like a church than the catacombs we were expecting. Free and hard to miss, by the road and with a brown sign.

Thank you. We did find them last year. Also a large area being newly excavated behind some houses. Looking forward to seeing how they have got on when we return in October.
