The harbour was within walking distance from our hotel, a really nice coastal walk to get to the harbour. The castle is good to see as well as the bars, restaurants and shops in the area make this a good place to visit. The whole area around the harbour also has plenty of other architectural sites to see too.

My friends and I walked up the coast and came across the castle at night time so unfortunately it was closed by the time we got here. But it was a fantastic view at night. All lit up! Its a lovely walk up the castle and the surrounding areas are brilliant as you can stop for a bite to eat... More

Although the castle itself isn't anything spectacular, its location is brilliant for watching superb sunsets. We were there in December so a bit chilly but still worth sitting on the rocks beside the castle watching the sun go down with the sound of the crashing waves adding to the atmosphere.

We did not enter to castle as it was expensive entry money but around the castle is very idyllic and pretty

We visited Paphos Harbour January 3rd 2017, we walked along the beach from our hotel to the harbour which took about 1hr, it has shops selling holiday souvenirs, restaurants, there is also the bus station there, plenty of boats offering trips in the summer but not in the winter as sea was quite choppy, but has plenty of places to... The Castle has been virtually untouched since first built. Standing at the end of the harbour it's location is perfect for sunset photos. Walk past the many eateries, boats and souvenir shops or take the walkway along the coast. Events and shows are held during different festival periods through the year. Watch the fishermen bring in the catch of today... More

If I remember it was around 3 euros each, great views of the harbour from the top. Good history we enjoyed it.

You have to pay to get in for a 10 minute visit! Very steep steps so not suitable for toddlers & elderly & those who struggle with stairs, once at the top the views are Great but that is all- wouldn't go again

Very much on its own this building facing the sea. Close by you have your local restaraunts and this is pretty much it. Clean area and ok to relax for a while.
