A must see in Paphos

Paid a visit in early December so it wasn't busy...about 2 euros 50 to get in...be prepared for a lot of walking but well worth it, and great views across the bay.

The Tomb of The Kings is not what I expected to see but it was well worth visiting if you are interested in the history of the area. The unusual thing about the site is that no Kings were actually buried there, the catacombs were for the very rich people and those of high standing. The site is not very... More

Easy to find and easy parking. There is a small fee. There were guided tours, but I did my own thing. The ground is uneven in many places, so wheel-chair is difficult. It was pleasant walking around and enjoying a sunny day. There is some info at each tomb and there are toilets. There is a ship-wreck off the coast... More

Unless you are close to this location you will need to get their by bus which is very easy as the bus's are very frequent and the drivers tell you when to get off, But for me it was just holes in the ground and some what off a let down

It is so cheap, like 2.5 euros, to enter this place. It is basically a giant graveyard of the wealthy deceased of Paphos. There are no facilities like a cafe or shop but it is well worth a wander round, just to see the old tombs which are both extensive and elaborate. It is on a slight hill which also... More

We visited the Tombs of the Kings in November 2016 Entry was very cheap – 2.50 Euros for two (pensioners). Our biggest disappointment was the lack of information and a map. We did get a booklet that had an aerial photo view which did help. There were some explanatory panels in the ground adjacent to the tombs, but these were... More

I visited this sightwhen in Pafos last time. It is not in a very good state of preservation (but then is has been there for thousands years) and is not for the faint hearted. There is not a lot of information, and would recommend that you go before it is getting dark as the ground is a bit rocky and... More

These elaborate tombs are in a generally poor state of preservation. Looting in antiquity, earthquakes and quarrying have all taken their toll. Little information is available and that relates to only a handful of tombs. The unwary explorer could easily find himself falling into a grave (already vacated by the original owner :-) ) as in several places there is... More
