Any visit to Polis and Latchi would not complete without taking time out to try one of the many nature trails like either the Adonis or Aphrodite Trails both of which we have tried and have been well worth the time and effort with stunning views of the Akamas and the surrounding areas. Nature walks are circular and start and... More

Easy to follow trail with potential to add on Afrodite sections to make a day hike. Great views. Decent footwear a must. And serious walkers will find poles useful on gravelly down hill sections.

Easy hike, circular, signed (although there is a tricky turn not signed - there was a big rusty metal frame, do not carry on straight but turn). No drinking water available on the way. 7km, starts from Aphrodite's Baths, ends on the road, a few minutes walk away from the parking lot.

The Adonis Trail is reasonably hard going - you ascend for several kilometers up a steep mountainside then follow a fairly tortuous path down the other side. This descent was not easy as the path is narrow and steep in places and you liable to slip in the loose scree and soil lying over the path. Proper footwear for hill... More

Fab views....hilly at start though. Don't do it on a blistering hot day, make sure you have sturdy footwear and take lots of water

We very much enjoyed doing a 19km walk down the peninsula. It is beautiful and I would recommend it.

This is a great walk but It is even better if you walk the coast part first as this is quite steep and hard on the knees if you walk it the other way as some of the foot holds are rather slippery due to loose stones. W walked it in March and the flowers and shrubs were in credible... More

A good work out with one or two awkward parts. I have seen young couples take push chairs around it, but you need to be young and fit. A cautionary note, if the goats are above you watch out for falling stones. The views of Latchi and the waters around the headland are great. If it is really clear you... More

There are two linked walks, starting from the Baths of Aphrodite. We did both, anticlockwise, so started on the Aphrodite walk and progressed to the Adonis. Total 11km, height gain a little over 300m. Spectacular views on the Aphrodite section, pleasant enough on the Adonis section. The paths are sometimes steep, and rocky under foot, so good footwear is important.... More
