Most of the appeal got tarnished by refurb work visible, so didnt want to walk around for much longer, alot of photographers here taking images of cars, and buildings, otherwise atmosphere is pretty, and interesting.

It's OK to visit, to feel the glamorous atmosphere, but there aren't many choices to have a drink around the square if you're not going inside the casino.

I enjoyed my time visiting here and watching the supercars drive around the square. I visited a few times while staying in Monaco and each time there were different cars to spot.

This all goes together well. The most famous casino in the world, flashy cars, beautiful people, great (famous) restaurants, fabulous hotels and huge yachts in the harbor below. And the fountain and gardens. Sensory overload!!!

We walked around the casino square and also had a drink in cafe Paris.. it was lovely sitting in the sun admiring the buildings and people / supercar watching. Highly recommend and would definitely go back. Be warned you need deep pockets though.

All part of a great day in Monte Carlo, although we could never afford the lifestyle of the residents, it costs nothing to look! The gardens are beautifully manicured, along with all of the pristine buildings surrounding it, a fun feature is a concave mirror...More

Realistically you only walk around this place and 'live in the moment' and realise where your at and that's all you need. 100% worth the visit so you can feel the atmosphere and the fab Monte-Carlo Casino and the amazing cars parked around it.

The must to see in Montecarlo, the expression of luxury starting from the cars and buildings and arriving to the people. The most famous place and the heart of Monaco.

Hi I agree with the below posts that it's probably best to catch a taxi up to Casino square as its a steep walk from the harbor. As Monaco is so small, it won't be a long taxi ride. Enjoy your trip
