If there is ONE museum you want to see in Linz and within that ONE ,useum, you one want to see ONE thing and then move on ... visit Ars Electornica and there to 3D 8K Installation. You will NOT be disappointed. If you got more time on your hand or are interested in other things on the border of... More

The building looks fabulous in the evening when looking across the bridge from the main square. Even entering it, there's an expectation of something great. We started at the the top and we're initially disappointed until we got to the display right at the bottom, where a lovely guide took the opportunity to show us what you could do with... More

One of the recommended sites in Linz. Many interesting things to see and learn, but they almost all require someone from the museum to guide you through, explain and show what it does. Nice robots, 3D printers, musical instruments. The 8K show was nice and worth the 1h long stay with those special glasses on. Important to make sure you... More

We were mostly enthusiastic about the 3D (8K) show here. The rest was somehow a disappointment (also some cool stuff, of course). I have to point out that the staff are really nice and helpful. If you have teenagers.. Definitely worth the visit.

Excellent place, high level of staff, presentations of newest technical achievements in many spheres of live. Great for families and children, but also grown ups can learn a lot. One of the top places to visit in Linz.

Very good connection between technology and experience , where you have the chance to try out some of the things they have been developing there. The 3D movie is really cool and the downstairs part entertain you for one hour

It is interesting museum for adults and teenagers. It makes you think of how advanced electronic solutions are. If you are old or young, german speaker or not - do not miss 8K room that shows space in 3D and other visual solutions that are for shure interesting to see. Entrance fee works for 24 hours...so you can come twice:)

Interessting 'exhibition'. I was there our 1,5 year old child. Looking around for fun. Nice 3D cinema, which is the highlight looking at entertainment. Not sure if it really special what they show there and if it it just quite unknown or that it is something normal....think the first one.

The ars electronica works hard to present the latest science in a nice packet which is easy to grasp. With "helpers" available everywhere to aid you and explain you never feel lost or not understanding, my two thumbs up!
