The clock tower is a great place to visit. The walk up the "back way" ie through the gardens is quite a climb but very pleasant during good weather. The alternate is the many stairs or the Funicular. The latter is free with a daily...More

I'm a biassed fan of Graz, and its wonderful Schlossberg and Uhrturm. I first visited it when I was 13 with my Grazer dad back in 1970 something. I love the clock that it looks odd and spectacular all at the same time. I love...More

Tips: - go during the day. It is 1000 times nicer, but it is also nice to see it during the night. - no entry fee, only if you want to go to a caffee or a restaurant at the top I went there with...More

I really love gardens and flowers, and if all of that comes with an amazing view over the city, it gets much much better! It's quite romantic, especially when there are musicians who play famous pieces, creating a great atmosphere! Loved that!

To visit the town's landmark is a must on your visit to Graz. Nice overview, easy to go up by stairs or by elevator. Best in Spring and Summer!

I took an early morning up here and really enjoyed the tower and its view. Great spot for a morning hike or run.

One od the must-see in Graz. There are two ways for the turists up - stairs or lift. We used the lift (for free because of 3 day Graz ticket for public transport). The whole area is full of interesting art and spectacular view of...More

Of course, as so often with Austrian attractions, it was under renovation when I visited. Just go up to Schlossberg and as you're getting down, pass by it. It's a nice clock tower, not much else to it, should see it though if you're in...More

The proud history of the clock tower and gardens are amazing. Options for everyone to access and appreciate the magnificent views and cultural gatherings. Surprisingly cool inside the rock tunnel that cuts across Graz from Trams, bars and restaurants to the University district. Just 260...More
