I would definetely live there

Narrow and cute street. A lot of different and nice stores, really close to restaurants and the main square. It is really worth a short walk around there.

An amazing little alleyway that is littered with boutiques, curious shops and eateries. I found it on my way to Restaurant Continuum from the Hauptplatz, leading upto the Karmeliterplatz. Don't miss numbers 25 (the famous soldier), 22 (courtyard) and the detour into Hofgasse for the gorgeous wooden façade of the Edegger-Tax bakery. Keep looking up, and you will notice amazing... A nice little street free of cars. Some nice shops and some nice food places to sit and people watch, as it can get busy

I loved this part of town th most! Traffic free so it is nice to walk the street and sit down in one of many caffees. This is also nice start for a climb to the castle.

We thoroughly enjoyed wandering around this area of Graz. It's so much quieter that a lot of other European cities...that said there was a brass band playing in the square, but that added to our enjoyment. We would love to come back and see more of Graz again!!
