The staff was very friendly, they showed us different animals and let us pet them. They answered all of our questions. The zoo has a lot of different animals, some of them are really interesting.

Stopped off here on a motorcycle tour of Europe. We found the owners son to be very helpful, friendly and knowledgable. I was surprised by the exhibits. I really wasnt expecting to see, black mambas, green mambas, puff adders and different species of rattlesnakes in a Austria. There are indoor and outdoor enclosures, which are very well cared for. If... More

Beautiful place, next to the Minimundus. We visited it during the winter, while it was snowing a Minimundus was closed. An incredible number of spiders and snakes, all kinds, very friendly staff, expensive tickets but are worth every euro. Any recommendations for a visit of this interesting and highly educational place.

Reptilienzoo Happ is located next to Minimundus. (At the left side.) We could present the "Kärnten Card" so entrance was free, but we could not help noticing that the entrance fee was higher than what is charged at neighboring Minimundus. We realized that maybe we would have skipped Happ, were it not that our Kärnten Card covered the entrance fee.... More

There were lizards, crocodiles, various species of snakes and turtles, piranhas, poisonous frogs, chameleons, an insectarium with various arachnids (spiders, scorpions), an outdoor area with rattlesnakes and vipers from around the world. Though there was a lot of people, we really enjoyed the visit on a cloudy day. It is rather expensive (14€), it’s better to buy Karnten Card (with... More

I've been to zoo a few times and it is always nice family experience. Rare opportunity to see so many reptiles (I love cute small colorful frogs, and my daughter favorite are giant turtles)l Some might enjoy feeding time of crocodiles...

We went as a group of 4 adults and 1 child. The child enjoyed the experience but us 4 adults did not. We thought it was over priced for what you got.

We planned in advance to visit the Reptile Zoo since we are all facinated by these amazing animals. The variety is decent, but the display is mostly old fashioned. The whole spiders display is too high for children to watch and the outdoor displays are also fenced in a way that we had to pick the kids up for them... More
