Lively and charming street with loads of souvenir shops and cafes. It still has the rustic charm of the olden days with modern brands and facilities. The shop signs give it a very unique feel. Take a nice little stroll through this street from/to your way to the birthplace of Mozart

Our hotel was actually on this street but we really enjoyed walking up and down - it's only 5 minutes walk to the old town from here and the cute narrow street has a ton of shops (house wear, grocery, jewellers) and restaurants (high end to fast food) so you can't go wrong.

the is the place to shop when in Salzburg. The atmosphere is pleasant and it only gets crowded around mid day. The tall buildings on each side are similar to other old European towns, but there is a bit more player as Salzburg is a small city. Definitely worth a walk through.

To Singaporeans, this is the Salzburg equivalent of Orchard Road, but do manage your expectations. Shopping aside, it was a lovely walk in between the buildings with beautiful architecture. The walkway was not smooth, and if walking from Mozartplatz, it will be an uphill climb. Recommended for the last leg of the visit of Salzburg. Drop by the supermarket along... More

Nice place for walking tour, many well-known brands are located in this street as well as small shops and restaurants. Completely traditional and redecorated due to Christmas time, should pay a visit.
