My wife will attest to my dislike of climbing stairs. If I’m outdoors, I can climb up mountains until exhausted but there is something about the monotonous plod-plod-plod of stairs that “does my head in”. She on the other hand, seems to enjoy this masochistic...More

This was an interesting visit, especially since it was included with my Innsbruck Card. There is a bit of climbing, but the views of the city are great.

Under the tower for a fee of .70 are clean public toilets...there are no toilets at the visitor center. The tower was built in the 1400's and has an observation deck...the lowest portion was a prison. Open 10-5 Oct-May and 10-8 June -Sept

Another beautiful building just before the Town Square. Great view of the town. Part of a marvellous stroll we did in a straight line from the Triumphpforte to the Golden Roof.

Closed at 5 so i had to make it quick. Spiral staircases, separate for up and down which I think safer. Good views. Included Innsbruck Card.
