Skiing the Alps was great and highly recommend. This was a great starting point for the mountains. Gondola was great and accommodations on top and bottom were good.

Very efficient, important information available, staff friendly. It was useful for both frequent visitors and new ones.

Need it to get up to the ski slopes. You have to be patient because people are coming in from at least two sides to get into the gondols. Good mood is needed!

Hello 618heidih, thank you for your feedback. There is only 1 Gondola where waiting times can occur during busy hours, which is the Hahnenkammbahn. There are 6 other gondolas that can bring you up to the skiing area without queuing s such as Fleckalmbahn or Maierl. Best regards from Kitzbühel More

We loved the slopes in Kitzski! the only negative this we encountered is that after a snowfall in the morning the slopes were in very bad condition and most would surely benefit from a groomer. We even saw snow cannons operational during heavy snowstorm! as if there was not enough snow that day (25cm of new snow)! other than that,... More

The Hahnenkammbahn is a great ride, especially if you are not a skier (like me) and therefore possibly blazé about such transport. It costs about €23.50 return and takes you to the top of the Hahnenkamm where there is also a large apre-ski restaurant and bar. if you are a non-skier you can walk for as long as your stamina... A highlight of our holidays in Austria is always taking a tootle on the gondolas. As self-confessed "gondola geeks", who have only holidayed in Austria in the summer up to this year, we were excited about riding some of the winter lifts. We purchased the hiking pass for 5 consecutive days at a cost of €72.50 and we got our... More

Parking in the town €8 all day and short walk to the lift. Was expecting mega high prices but no problems not when it's one of the best on our 6 different ski area holiday. Food and drink up the mountain again not much different to anywhere else we had been to. Lovely runs right down to the town. Nice... More

Long flat sections make this hard for snowboarding. Need your board serviced and waxed or you may do lots of walks of shame.

Kitzbuhel has everything, great places to eat/drink up in the mountain, lifts and slopes for everyone from beginner to expert. In my opinion the best skiing area in Austria.

Even when there are thousands of people skiing the capacity of the new lifts is enough that we hardly had to wait. Wonderful prepared pistes and nice food. Expensive but worth the money.
