A great overview of the city. You don't have to be photographed on your way up if you don't want to so that will save money. The prices on the rotating cafe is reasonable so you can take a coffee and cake for 7-8 euros...More

The tower is seated on the new part of the city and it has great overview. It is nice place for romantic dinner or just a good cup of coffee.

The tickets are little bit more expensive, but it worth it, the elevator was cool, and the spinning restaurant was confusing and I was little bit dizzy, but it was interesting!

It was a shame about the weather, but the food was simply divine .. service was great, not rushed at all. We think this was our best meal out all week - we had lunch. I had the traditional Weiner schnitzel - crispy batter and...More

Yes there is a restaurant at the top, we didn't book when we went but then it wasn't in the high season, the restaurant rotates giving great views over Vienna. Depending on the size of your party going it might be best to... More

I will be in Vienna for 3 days. Is the Donauturm worth a visit considering its distance from the town centre? I was considering a combined Danube cruise with Donautrum but the timetable is such that it would mean spending most of the day on this outing. If so, how do I get there using public transport and how long does it take? Or would my time be better spent going to Melk to visit the Abbey? Going in July Thanks

It's really not that far with subway. There's some walking involved but all in all it should take around 2hrs 3h tops.
