A visit to Therme Wien is a transformative experience. This unique thermal spa is an irresistible world where peace and quiet reigns. Leave your everyday stresses and strains at the door. Time loses all meaning, leaving you free to concentrate on what matters most: yourself! You will be in your element: in the heart of the city, yet surrounded by nature. Gentle and contemplative, fun and loud, effervescent or calm. Just like the imaginary stream that wends its way through the heart of Therme Wien, following its natural course and releasing energy in cascading fountains. The Therme Wien stream is a silent and ever-present companion for spa goers on their quest to rediscover themselves. Our goal is to create a place where people can break free of their daily routine and get in touch with their inner rhythm. At Therme Wien you have more than enough time and opportunity to unwind. What are you waiting for?

Plenty of things to do for the whole family. Or nice peace and quiet without the kids. Very enjoyable sitting in a warm pool outside in a cool winters night. Will definitely be back.

We spent the whole of a cold wet February day here. The pool area was pretty well packed even on a weekday but we headed straight up to the sauna area. The whole area is spotless and the staff are helpfull. Not that many people perhaps 50 or so but the whole age range were present. The saunas were very... More

Take day or half at least to visit. Spa is big. What I liked the most was the temperature - the air, the pools . everything was warm. Even pools outside in december! What i did not like was the salt-world which you have to pay extra for - there is nothing you can not find in sauna world or... More

I was in Vienne only for 4 days including days of arriving and leaving but I didn't regret a minute spending one whole day (10 hours to be precise) in Therme Wien. If you want to relax, to warm up in freezing weather, to swim, to soothe in jacuzzi, just go to Therme Wien! I bought Relax package and enjoyed... More

Before going, I have viewed the comments from different people and the options are widely spread. Seeing is believing, I want to tell my own story. 1. Travel by public transport from Vienna centre. The bus 68B from subway station Reumannplatz is easily recogniseable and well-sign posted. The journey is relatively long but the bus is quite frequent. 2. I... More

This spa is not great at all, it is over crowded - far from relaxing and full of children. Seems like a good place to come if you have the children with you, but not a place for adults or couples by themselves. The pools did not look great either- we left after 15 minutes as we did not want... More

With so many different pools inside and outside I was hoping some would be warmer than others, but there are only subtle differences in each pool. I'd say they range from 30-35 C, but this is probably the norm in this part of the world. Perhaps I'm spoiled by American hot tubs (when you can find a good one) which... More

Was having high expectations and somehow the place was not so special. Quality pools and saunas (saunas costs extra and it is a mandatory naked environment). But atmpshpere is not very relaxing. It's more like a modern public bath than a spa nad wellness facility. Food is quite bad and expensive. Not recommended if having just a few days time... More

This complex is divided in two parts: - a lot of pools with warm water (indoor, outdoor, jacuzzi, etc.) A lot of activies for the children so the other pools are quiet. - the sauna area which with extra cost (you pay when you exit the therms) A lot of saunas dry or steamed, indoor and outdoors. Amazing! Be aware... More
