A very nice place to visit with some lovely art. The Klimt's were fantastic. Shame that the upper house doesn't retain any of its original furniture and is purely an art gallery. Lovely gift shop with nice prints and postcards.

It was raining when we reached there. But rains in Vienna do not stay for long, so we could enjoy the outdoor gardens and large pool area as well. This Museum is right opposite the Metro station, so better to go by public transport. For a art and history lover, this is the right place to visit.

beautiful place with excellent garden. Not much of the art inside but the atmosphere is tranquil. It is even better in May or June.

We took a taxi to the Belvedere to see portraits by Klimt and Schiele only seen previously in art book reproductions. They were sublime. But the bonus was the landscape paintings, something unexpected and a wonderful addition to our education. The buildings themselves are grand, and the grounds attractive.

We only visited the Upper Palace with our primary intention being getting a look at Gustav Klimt's 'The Kiss'. Not only did this impress, but there were a number of other pictures by Klimt, Egon Schiele and Monet which made the ticket price worth it. I don't really consider myself to be really arty, but I really enjoyed walking into... More

The Belvedere is a magnificent palace complex in Vienna. Two Baroque palaces face each other on a sloping hill. Between the palaces lies a formal French garden with fountains, statues and cascades.

The Belvedere Palace was the summer residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy. Built in the early eighteenth century. The grounds were beautiful. This location is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I only visited upper Belvedere. Beautiful palace. Probably the best coIlection of Gustav Klimt anywhere. Also many Egon Schiele. Since it was February, the grounds were not at their best but still impressive.
