The Imperial Armoury is located in the second floor of the Weltmuseum Wien. It is packed full of magnificent suits of armour and decorative weapons that attest to chivalric values and important occasions at court and it is accessible via the gallery of the breathtaking Hall of Columns.

An impressive collection of armour and the like but few in attendance presumably because the weather was good. I couldn't drum up a great deal of enthusiasm I was literally museum'ed out ! But what experience I had here I did enjoy - beauriful building.

This is simply and easily the best armor museum I have ever visited. A wonderful t of full suited armors for humans and horses. Be sure to get the audio guide because there no English explanations inside.
