The Imperial Apartments are great extensions of the Sisi Museum part of the Hofburg. Listening to the audioguides you can learn a lot about the Habsburg family, especially about Sisi and Franz Josef. Worth visiting!

The Imperial Vienna Apartments are located in Hofburg Palace and show the private rooms to he Imperial Family and the way they used to live. It is a fantastic walk where a guided tour is highly recommended.

Although not as opulent as some Imperial residences, the apartments do give an insight into how the Royalty lived. Unfortunately some of the furniture was being restored, but that's how it goes sometimes.
