Amazing atmosphere in the whole quartier. Museums, cafes and the nice places to sit and have some sun in the pateo. I liked so much I came back in the following day.

What a great concept! Around a large square which includes a terrace or two but also just has plenty of benches to hang out on, are museums of such variety, anyone can find something they like. Get a Vienna pass and just spend the day...More

Lots of people just lounging spring in the Museums Quartier Wien. Still worth going even if you don't go to any of the museums.

This is a great place to visit! Both museums are interesting buildings. The Leopold puts on very thoughtfully curated exhibitions.

Feels like a magical place in the evening with all the people, the beautiful Kunst museum and the history museum..

The buildings are great but save yourself the trouble of going inside unless you are too hot and need an air conditioned rest. Poor art poorly presented.

Museumsquartier is basically a very, very good idea. A couple of fine museums, but without the thick layer of dust that many old museums tend to have.

I just love to sit there and enjoy the view! So many beautiful old buildings to see and different museums for kids and adults to enjoy..it is a must-see if you plan to go to Vienna!

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries,
arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde
shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with
cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make
for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and
art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at
Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.

Yes! Free and beautiful. A fun place for a picnic. It would make sense to google if there is a Vienna card or some card that lowers the price of admissions. Some cities have that. I'm jealous you're going there. My absolute... More
