We visited here by accident as when we passed there was a large group of Asian tourists following a lady with a red umbrella leaving the building, they all seemed to be enjoying themselves and we decided to see what they had been enjoying. The interior is spectacular and much more impressive than expected given that the site is nothing... More

big church and really worth of visiting. Very beautiful stained glass windows there, and a lot of them. Nice place to have a silent moment in city walking tour.

From the outside, this church towers over the park area where it is located. You can see the two spires from a distance. But we were really disappointed that it was closed. There is construction going on, and on the scaffolding was a giant advertisement with George Clooney sipping coffee. Something seems off here.

I took the underground to this place after beeing on a lot of sightseeing only for taking some photo since I should be in the area some hours. Its like Stephans Kirche very big. There was some work on the church when I passed it.

More of a business now then a church including a giant advert on the front of the cathedral during repairs. Shows serious signs of neglect.

The Votivkirche (Votive Church) is a roman catholic church in neo-Gothic style located next to Ring Boulevard. We went there to see the current exhibition "Sistine Chapel - Michelangelo's frescoes", a must see in Vienna! We will never forget - simply stunning!

After visiting the Sigmund Freud museum I took a few minute walk to this beautiful church and small park. This is a very impressive Gothic church with wonderful artistic details. Definitely worth while to take a few minutes and check it out.

Beautiful and atmospheric. Try to get inside on sunny afternoon, you won't regret it. There is a small museum inside too.

The church looks extremely beautiful. It is within the historical city area and close to the rathaus city hall and the univeristy building. There is a nice park opposite the votivkirche where you can sit and admire the building
