Beautiful garden to walk through, nice places around to eat or drink something, in the middle of the city.

If you're tired from walking around old town and want to take a break this is a good place. The garden is near Albertina Museum and State Opera House. There are plenty of trees to provide shade on a hot sunny day. While strolling in...More

We had been on a long walk along the ring taking in the sights to be seen there. It was a very warm afternoon and we were in need of a rest to recover from our tourist endeavours. The Burggarten is one of the smaller...More

In need of a bit of space and shade we wandered into the Burggarten a short distance away from the Albertina museum. The public garden is small with many large shady mature trees to sit under, there's a statue of Emperor Franz Joseph to glance...More

This is the former royal gardens on the Ring adjacent to the Hofburg. Nothing that special other than the statue to Mozart with the G-clef in flowers. A nice place to cool off, rest and worth a couple of tourist photos but cannot be compared...More

Nice little park, which fails in comparison with more famous parks in Vienna, such as Volksgarten or Stadtpark. Still, with great loaction in the Old city, it's easy to locate and worth a trip to check it out. Good place to relax.

This relatively small park is a wonderfully welcome relaxed green area amongst some of the most spectacular buildings you are likely to see. Add to this the statues of Goethe, Franz Joseph I and of course Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart then this place really is a...More

The park is nice and the statue of Mozart is beautiful but the park itself is basic compared to the other choices around town.

One of the several parks in Vienna, rather small and uninteresting but surrounded by interesting and beautiful buildings (backside of Neue Burg, …). Nothing special except for the Mozart statue … there are larger and more inspiring parks in Vienna.
