We started out as a home for dogs in 1988, since then our passion for dogs and life in the nature has taken us on an exilerating journey. Today we're one of Tromso's leading tourist destinations with over 300 dogs. Our main tours are with the dogsleds but we also have Northern Lights tours and snowshoe rentals.

In the summer we have Kayak trips, a wide range of tours and hikes with our huskies and puppies as well as glacier hikes. We'll provide warm clothes on all our tours to keep you warm while enjoying the Arctic Nature.

We did the dog sledding here with dinner afterwards and it was truly phenomenal. The dogs were so friendly and the staff were exceptional. The atmosphere all around there, from the yards to the restaurant was brilliant. The staff were knowledgable and happy to answer any questions we had, and the dogs are clearly so well looked after. One of the best things I have ever done. The transfer was easy, meeting the dogs was amazing, they are lovely. We were provided with all the kit, the ride itself was magical. I highly recommend this to anyone. After the sledding you sit down for some lovely stew. The staff and kind and accommodating. Love it.

Having visited the centre last year for a morning, we booked the 5 day wilderness trip. We were kitted out with some serious expedition equipment and after an afternoon/evening of orientation and a night eating reindeer stew, getting to know our trip companions and sleeping in one of the log huts we were driven up into the mountains the next... We were lucky that there was so much snow in the middle of May but as it turns out, it was the end of the season so we were a very small group and got the most excellent treatment. I would highly recommend this experience, the dogs super energetic, you can tell they get treated so well because they try... More

Went with my mom when she was visiting... it was FUN! we pat the dogs, we talked to one of the guide/care takers and she explained a little how it worked. Then we went for the short sledding ride (shorter than the usual one as we were told) and after a quick bite came back to the City.

I loved my 2 days at the centre. My friend and I did the 2 day tour, with wild camping. Our Guide was lovely and friendly, very passionate about the dogs and the dogs loved him. The whole experience was amazing. I felt like a real life musher, from handling the amazingly friendly dogs, to feeding, and steering the sled.... More

We bought the dog sledding package and it was a great experience! Description is accurate as the website stated, highly recommended! Approximately 1 hour of interacting with the dogs and puppies and another 1 hour driving the dogs. Lunch was very tasty as well! Would definitely buy this package again!

Enjoyed a sleigh ride with a couple of Huskies. Great day. My only feedback would be to be a little bit more organized on the day - Thanks
